Jakarta,  (ANTARA News) - Indonesia`s men`s water polo team failed to finish in top five at the Asian Games 2018 after losing 15-7 to South Korea in a decisive match at the Senayan Aquatic Stadium here on Friday.

"Admittedly, we had aimed to finish in the top five at the Asian Games 2018. We have done our best in this match. However, the defeat is the consequence of the competition. South Korea has given us ample experience," Indonesian water polo coach Milos Sakovic stated.

Despite the defeat, Indonesia still has a chance of finishing seventh in water polo at the Asian Games 2018 on Saturday (Sept 1) when the host team meets Saudi Arabia, which lost 5-4 to Singapore.

South Korea will take on Singapore for a top five spot at the Asian Games 2018.
